I had the MAD skid plate (similar design as Mishimoto) and decided to go with the Meyer Fabrication oil cooler guard instead after reading a bunch of reviews.
Key factors for me were NO removal of any OEM components and maintaining the stock ground clearance and air flow. Supporting a small US based business and being manufactured in the USA is also a nice plus.
The Meyer does not go back as far as it is not a true skid plate but I'm not sure it is really needed as the only vulnerable thing down there is the oil cooler and this does a fantastic job of protecting it. Quality is top notch and the email communication/customer service was phenomenal. Install was super easy and straightforward.
NOTE: in a prior review it was mentioned that the rear screws could have been too long, apparently they weren't causing any actual issues but they shortened the included rear screws now so that isn't even an "issue".
